Sorry for my bad English. I'm using the google translator.
I think that having the option to go back and forth (left or right slipped respectively) can be quite useful to review what was read in a reading session several appointments.
As well as having the ability to check my favorites and to eliminate some if not to our liking to not to see 'that stupid quote' :-)
Thanks for this wonderful application.4 votes
i have a great idea, its called a solar back panel, its great if your stuck somewhere or out and about with friends or hiking and you need to charge your phone, and since smart phones are really bad on the battery, the solar panel on the back would alway be charger and taking on power from the sun.1 vote
Thanks for your interest!
I’ll keep that idea in mind, though I have to admit it’s a lot of work. The cookies are now shown pretty much randomly to you, from large databases.
Would you really want to look up the same ones often?
Note that there are many share functions in the menu; you could keep your favorite fortunes elsewhere for now.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will look into it and get back to you. I’m curious in what way you are aware of the service. Through some process management app? Via the battery meter settings app?
Did you mean to add this as an option in the preferences or that I should make the app by default more graphical (without choice)?
I do recognize that some “fortune” apps are very graphical, however Android’s Fortune is intended to kept close to the unix fortune program, which is command-line based (text) only.
Moreover, I can program and all, but I do not have the means nor the resources to create high quality graphical content.
As to just adding choice of text colors and backgrounds, I have put this on the todo list thanks to your feedback!
Dynamic text color is not easily doable at the moment because of the Android API. Backgrounds should be possible but will slow down the app a little. It’s all in the trade-off.
If someone is interested, I would likely accept any such contributions to the open source code.
I realize that currently acquiring new cookie files is too cumbersome for most mobile users. How easy is downloading the files to the sd card manually? Offering an online repository of cookie files through Android's Fortune would require me to do a lot of publishing work (with nasty licensing consequences as well).
Should I leave the manual install of cookie files in?0 votes
